GT has a heritage of making fast bikes. We wanted to take advantage of that heritage by showcasing just how deadly a GT can be when placed in the right hands. This tongue-in-cheek campaign declared an Open Season on Slow, and included a BRC hunting license, web experience, viral videos and print.
You know those annoying magazine inserts trying to sell you a subscription that always fall out when you're flipping through a magazine? Well, instead of that, we used these inserts as an opportunity to add more fun to go with a series of print ads showcasing these hilarious photos of trophy catches.
On the front of the insert, we laid out the law for catching and releasing along with providing a perforated license for people to fill out and keep in their pocket. You know, "for fun".
On the back was a simple log sheet to jot down all the people you smoked on the trails and road.
